Through a combination of
written work, continuous field trips, and
experiential education, Aspiro provides
students the opportunity to earn high school
credits. While a student can earn up to 6.0
credits if their length of stay supports it,
most students earn on average 1.75 credits
during a 54-day stay.
Students spend time nearly every day, completing written work and reading
assignments. Skillfully-trained staff also
take the students through a series of field
trips and activities where students
"experience" learning firsthand. Typically,
a student will earn the following:
-
.50 English
-
.25 Environmental Science
-
.25 Mental Health
-
.25 Geology
-
.50 Physical Education
Additional classes may be provided or
supported under special circumstances.
Upon completion of requirements, an official
transcript will be issued by West Ridge Academy who is
accredited through the Northwest Association
of Schools and Colleges.
At a parent’s request, a complete learning
evaluation and psychological assessment may be
completed while the child is in the program for an
additional fee. Please
contact the clinical director for additional
information and associated costs. Or visit
